
Discovering product designer Benjamin Hubert’s collection of work is like finding yourself in a candy-shop of visual delights. His rapidly evolving range of lighting, ceramics and furniture cleverly fuses form and function and decorative drawing pins in pastel colours sit alongside industrial gothic candelabras, floor lamps inspired by water droplets and bright umbrella-shaped serving bowls.
At just 24, Benjamin Hubert is hotly tipped as one of the bright sparks of British design. Despite having graduated from Loughborough University just two years ago, Hubert has already built up an impressive collection of products and established a name for himself within the industry. The designer was highlighted in the Telegraph Magazine’s recent ‘one to Watch’ feature and has been nominated for many awards (most recently his Martini glass design was shortlisted for Bombay Sapphire’s 2008 Designer Glass competition)…
