I mention it just to show that SOCOM is serious about minimizing time, money, and complexity on its projects, but let me remind us one more time: delivering on time and on budget isn’t the real point. The goal is to deliver top-shelf gear, not just to keep the bean counters happy. Saving money is nice, but the real question is whether this approach led to effective new capabilities for SOCOM.
